A Strategy, Euro, Card Drafting, Engine Building Game
By Rick Goodman, lead designer of Age of Empires (video game), and more
Hook:
Rick Goodman’s take on a mid-weight euro game set in ancient Rome. Featuring several classic mechanics, like card drafting and engine building, this game also innovates with a unique coin-based action selection approach that dictates a player’s turn movement. With the exception of the drafting phase, players play simultaneously, which both expedites play and engrosses players in the theme of building their own empire.
